Autumn Food Drive 2023

Autumn Food Drive 2023

We’re excited to announce our ‘Autumn Food Drive’ in support of Food Banks Mississauga. We’re collecting non-perishable food items in order to help people in need. Participate in this effort and help us support Mayor Crombie’s city-wide food drive to provide food to our neighbours in need in the city. 

Most needed items are:

      • Cooking oil
      • Shelf Stable Juice Packs
      • Canned Tuna
      • Baby Food & Baby Formula
      • Peanut Butter
      • Pasta

Our goal is to collect 1000 lbs of food. We can only do that with your help!

The Prophet (ﷺ) said:

“If you want to soften your heart, feed the poor and pat the head of the orphan.”

[Musnad Aḥmad 7576]

Ways to donate: 

Food items can also be dropped off in the food bin at the front entrance or in the back of the masjid at:  

Al Huda Institute, 5671 McAdam Road, Mississauga, ON, at the following times: 

  • Monday-Friday: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
  • Saturday – Sunday: 10:00 am – 2:00 pm
  • Or at any Salah time.

‘Rise To The Challenge – Workshop for Parents’

Are you concerned about how to deal with the challenges our children are faced with on a daily basis? Here’s your chance to invest in your children.

AQ is licensed to deal with depression and anxiety, the most common deterrents to a healthy life.
