Share the Blessings – Ramadan Food & Toy Drive

Share the Blessings – Ramadan Food & Toy Drive

This Ramadan, Share the Blessings with everyone in the community by participating in our Food & Toy Drive! Help us feed local families by sharing non-perishable food items such as rice, sugar, flour, oil, canned fruits/vegetables and more. Participate in our toy drive by bringing new, packaged toys, and help us brighten a child’s Eid.
“The Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم was the most generous of all people, and he used to be even more generous in the month of Ramadan…(Bukhari)”
Monetary donations are welcome. All food items and toys can be dropped off at Al Huda Institute, 5671 McAdam Road, Mississauga. There are two food bins; one at the main entrance, and one in the women’s prayer area entrance. All toys can be dropped off at reception or in the cafeteria.
Help us make food packages and gift-wrap toys by volunteering for our Ramadan Packing Events! Click here to volunteer!

*Note: We do our best to allocate and disperse Ramadan donations in the month of Ramadan. Donations that come in too late are either held for the next Ramadan or dispersed in appropriate projects as per need.

Guided Hearts
New Muslim Network

At Al Huda Institute, we are well aware of the various challenges a New Muslim can face. Unable to find the necessary support can have a negative impact on not only a personal level but on a social level as well.
It is for this reason, Serving Humanity has established
Guided Hearts: New Muslim Network.

We will be having a monthly gathering to bring support to New Muslims through social networking and reflection sessions.
If you are a New Muslim or have newly started a journey towards the faith, we invite you to join us once a month to socialize and connect with the community.

You are cordially invited to our first Ramadan Iftaar on Friday, May 17th, 2019, at 7:30 pm, at Al Huda Institute,
